  • 2 teaspoons canola or vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)

Instructions

  1. Bring salted water to a boil in a large pot. Prepare an ice bath in a bowl.
  2. Blanch the bok choy for 1 minute in boiling water, then transfer immediately to the ice bath to halt cooking. Drain and pat dry.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over high heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the blanched bok choy, stir-frying for 2-3 minutes until slightly browned.
  5. Pour in soy sauce and mushroom sauce; stir well and cook for another minute.
  6. Serve garnished with sesame seeds, salt, and pepper.
