  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • Juice of 2 oranges (about 1 cup)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • Garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In one bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, and salt for coating. In another bowl, whisk together flour, water, oil, salt, and cornstarch for the batter.
  3. Dredge cauliflower florets in the wet batter then coat with the seasoned flour before placing them on the baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Meanwhile, prepare the orange sauce by mixing orange juice, zest, ketchup, sugar, vinegar, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes in a saucepan over medium heat until thickened.
