  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 16 ounce jar cocktail onions, drained well
  • 8 ounce block cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 Tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 Tablespoon white granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon horseradish
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Chop cocktail onions into small pieces and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter and toast panko breadcrumbs with spices until golden brown. Remove from heat.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix half of the toasted breadcrumbs with cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, ketchup, sugar, horseradish, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, oregano, black pepper, salt, cayenne (optional), dried parsley, and chopped onions using a hand mixer until smooth.
  4. Transfer to a serving bowl; cover and chill if not serving immediately.
  5. Top with remaining breadcrumbs and garnish before serving.
