Instructions

  1. Prepare the cherries by draining and chopping them into bite-sized pieces. Pat dry with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a stand mixer, cream together butter and cream cheese until fluffy; add sugar and mix until pale.
  4. Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, almond extract, and reserved cherry juice until combined.
