  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4–6 fresh jalapeños
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 8 slices bacon
  • Sliced jalapeños for garnish
  • Green onions for garnish
  • Crackers for serving
  • Tortilla chips for serving
  • Toasted baguette for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook chopped bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Drain and set aside.
  2. In the slow cooker, combine cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, diced jalapeños, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Cover and cook on LOW for 2 hours, stirring every 30–40 minutes until smooth.
  4. Fold in about three-quarters of the crispy bacon into the dip.
  5. Serve warm topped with remaining bacon and garnish with sliced jalapeños and green onions.
