  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon ground paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground coriander
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 4 garlic cloves, finely grated or minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, cumin, paprika, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and other spices.
  2. Add chicken thighs to the marinade and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (up to overnight).
  3. Preheat your grill or oven; grill chicken for 5-6 minutes per side or roast at 425°F for about 25-30 minutes.
  4. Let cooked chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing into strips.
  5. For the garlic sauce, mix Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt in a bowl.
  6. Serve sliced chicken with garlic sauce in pita wraps or on rice bowls.
