- 2 cups Gruyere cheese (shredded)
- 12 slices Texas toast
- 8 teaspoons mayonnaise

- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon (about 3 cloves) garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium-low heat, melt butter and add sliced onions. Cook until caramelized (15-20 minutes). Set aside.
- In a bowl, combine ground beef with ketchup, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Form into 8 patties.
- Cook patties in a skillet over medium-high heat for about 1-2 minutes per side until browned. Remove from skillet.
