  • 12 ounces linguine pasta

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare linguine according to package instructions in salted water; reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper; cook until browned and cooked through (5–7 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté garlic, paprika, and red pepper flakes for about a minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and chicken broth or reserved pasta water; simmer gently.
  5. Add heavy cream and half of the parsley; cook for an additional 2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet along with the linguine and parmesan cheese; toss to combine and adjust sauce consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
  7. Garnish with remaining parsley and serve immediately.
