Description

Kimchi Mandu, or Korean kimchi dumplings, are a delightful fusion of spicy, savory, and tangy flavors wrapped in delicate dough. These mouthwatering dumplings are filled with a delicious combination of seasoned pork, tofu, and finely chopped kimchi, making them the perfect comfort food for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • Round mandu dumpling wrappers
  • Ground pork
  • Firm tofu
  • Kimchi
  • Dangmyeon (sweet potato starch noodles)
  • Garlic chives
  • Onion
  • Bean sprouts
  • 1 tablespoon garlic (minced)
  • 2 teaspoon ginger (grated)
  • 2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, crumbled tofu, chopped kimchi, cooked dangmyeon noodles, minced onion, bean sprouts, garlic chives, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, soy sauce, sugar, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Place about a tablespoon of filling in the center of each mandu wrapper. Moisten edges with water and fold into a half-moon shape. Press firmly to seal.
  3. Steam the dumplings in a mandu steamer for 20–25 minutes until cooked through.
