Ingredients
- 200 g strawberries (hulled and halved)
- 15 g sugar
- 397 g condensed milk (1 can)
- 240 g mascarpone cream (room temperature)
- 360 ml double cream (cold)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp fine salt
Instructions
- Prepare the Strawberry Sauce: In a saucepan, combine hulled strawberries and sugar over medium heat. Cook for about 10 minutes until softened. Let cool.
- Make the Ice Cream Base: In a mixing bowl, blend room temperature mascarpone and condensed milk until smooth. In another bowl, whip cold double cream to stiff peaks, then fold into mascarpone mixture.
- Swirl in Strawberry Sauce: Layer half of the ice cream mixture in a freezer-safe container, drizzle half of the cooled sauce on top, add remaining ice cream, followed by more sauce. Gently swirl together.
- Freeze: Cover tightly and freeze for at least 6 hours or until fully set.
