Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet brown gravy mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Optional: 1/2 cup cooked bacon (crumbled)
  • Garnish: 1/4 cup sliced green onions

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then sear for about 5–7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, combine ranch dressing mix, brown gravy mix, chicken broth, and cream of mushroom soup. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
  3. Return the seared chicken to the skillet, spoon some sauce over it, cover, and simmer for 15–20 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  4. In the final minutes of cooking, top with shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon (if using), covering until cheese melts.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions.
