  • 1 ½ lbs sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 12 oz cheese tortellini (fresh or refrigerated)
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Fresh parsley and chives, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook tortellini: Boil salted water and cook tortellini according to package instructions. Reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.
  2. Sear steak: Season steak with Cajun seasoning and spices. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear steak bites until browned (about 2–3 minutes per side). Remove from skillet.
  3. Make sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice, red pepper flakes, and herbs.
  4. Combine: Add cooked tortellini and steak back into the skillet. Toss with sauce and reserved pasta water until creamy.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with extra herbs and Parmesan.
