  • 1 can pumpkin puree (15 oz)
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
  • 1 pkg Cool Whip (8 oz)
  • 1/2 bag Heath bits (8 oz)
  • Caramel sundae sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine yellow cake mix and pumpkin puree until smooth.
  3. Pour batter into two greased 9×13-inch baking dishes or bake one layer and slice in half.
  4. Bake for 23-28 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Cool cakes for 10 minutes, then poke holes all over the tops.
  6. Pour sweetened condensed milk over each layer and let soak for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  7. Spread half of the Cool Whip on one layer, top with the second layer, and spread remaining Cool Whip on top.
  8. Sprinkle Heath bits and drizzle caramel sauce before refrigerating for at least 3 hours.
