- 1 store-bought or homemade 9-inch pie crust
- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 cup whole milk
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 red bell pepper
- 1/2 green bell pepper
- 1 medium yellow onion
- 1 tbsp avocado oil
- 1/3 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp dried sage
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper (freshly ground preferred)
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the pie crust into the pie dish and pre-bake if necessary.

- Sauté diced onions and bell peppers until soft.
