  • 1.5 pounds white mushrooms
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 6 ounces cream cheese
  • ½ cup grated mozzarella
  • ¾ cup bread crumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan
  • 3 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 ½ tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Quarter the mushrooms and sauté with salt and pepper until water evaporates (about 7-9 minutes).
  3. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  4. Stir in cream cheese until mushrooms are coated; then mix in mozzarella, half the breadcrumbs, and half the Parmesan.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  6. For topping, combine remaining breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, and melted butter; sprinkle over the mushroom mixture.
