Description

Valentine’s Heart Macarons are the ultimate expression of love and sweetness, perfect for celebrating Valentine’s Day or any romantic occasion. Ingredients

  • 60 g egg whites (room temperature)
  • 65 g granulated sugar
  • 75 g almond flour
  • 55 g powdered sugar
  • Fuschia color gel
  • 1/4 recipe Simple Vanilla Buttercream
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silpat mat.
  2. In a food processor, combine almond flour and powdered sugar, processing until fine. Sift and set aside.
  3. Whip egg whites until foamy; gradually add granulated sugar and whip to stiff peaks.
  4. Gently fold in the dry mixture and fuschia gel until combined.
  5. Transfer the batter to a piping bag fitted with a 2A tip and pipe heart shapes onto the prepared sheet.
  6. Tap the baking sheet firmly on the counter to release air bubbles, then let dry for about an hour.
  7. While drying, prepare your vanilla buttercream.
  8. Bake the macarons for 10-20 minutes, allowing them to cool completely before assembling with buttercream.
